Growing up, Brenda learned about health disparities early on and truly believes everyone should have access to healthy foods so they can be healthy and happy. A Fresh Connect Cardholder Success Associate, she connects with our cardholders to educate them about Fresh Connect and how the program can benefit them. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym or spending time with friends!
Jackey Baiza
Chief of Staff, About Fresh
As an inner-city Boston native and plant-based foodie, Jackey is deeply committed to the convergence of fresh food accessibility and community empowerment. In her role at About Fresh, she fosters connections between people, information, and processes to foster strategic alignment, and cultivate a collaborative and efficient work environment. Outside of work, you can find her learning new moves at a local dance class or putting miles on her running shoes!
Nora Doherty
Cardholder Success Associate, Fresh Connect
Nora strongly believes that access to food is a basic human right, and medicine, and if we help each other more as a community, we will have a happier, healthier, and more equitable world. Nora helps get Fresh Connect Cardholders set up with their cards and supports them to make sure they have the right tools and knowledge to utilize the program. Nora loves cooking, talking about, reading about, looking at and eating food.
Nikki Erwin
Cardholder Success Associate, Fresh Connect
Nikki grew up shopping at WIC stores with his mom as a kid. He remembers pretty well the options that were available. Limited to dairy, jiffy peanut butter, and frozen fruit juices, the selection in hindsight seems lacking. When he graduated from Suffolk university, he learned about Fresh Truck and knew it was the perfect chance to help deepen the opportunities for everyone to have access to healthy eating options. At home he gardens with his partner, and looks forward to their monthly rotating dinner with their close friends. Cooking for others is part of his love language and if you’re ever hungry you are always welcome to come over for a meal!
Machayla Fortin
Director of Cardholder Experience, Fresh Connect
Machayla believes that access to nutritious food of your choice is a basic human right. At About Fresh, she ensures that all Fresh Connect cardholders are set up for success in the program by ensuring that folks receive their Fresh Connect card and know-how and where to use it. In her free time, you can find her at the local barre/yoga studio or taking a walk with her husband and their dog.
Casey Hogan
Service Design Manager, Fresh Connect
Casey has been working in food for over a decade through work with food tech startups, farmers markets, public markets, and food access nonprofits. She is passionate about supporting food growers and makers doing right by their customers, workers, and the planet and about increasing purchasing power for nutritious food. As Service Design Manager, she works with potential partners to learn more about Fresh Connect and help them design their programs to best fit those they serve. Casey lives nomadically with her dog, Oaty, and spends all of her free time traveling, which always includes trying new foods in the places she visits.
Michael Lantow
Director of Product Strategy, Fresh Connect
Michael is passionate about improving health via food access and economic stability. He partners with engineers, designers, and payment processors to build the Fresh Connect platform to empower cardholders to buy healthy food at retailers across the country. When not reading payment integration guides, he enjoys making music.
Jamie Pasley
Controller, About Fresh
Jamie is a firm believer in the transformative power of good food. She views food as a medium to express love, nurture well-being, and uphold a fundamental human right. At About Fresh, she manages the organization's bookkeeping operations, ensuring the efficient flow of resources to further our mission of fostering healthier and more equitable communities. After work, Jamie is an audiobook enthusiast who is perpetually sipping iced coffee (even during the winter months), and enjoying quality time with her children.

Adam thinks delicious, nutritious food is a celebration of life and a gateway to health, opportunity, and equity. Developing game-changing programs and initiatives is his jam. He loves seeing how all the pieces come together in brighter lives for all. When he's not working with the About Fresh team, you'll find him with his family or biking on roads near and far.
Courcelle Stark
Service Design Coordinator, Fresh Connect
Courcelle believes that access to affordable fresh fruits and veggies is essential for happiness and health. Their job supports the Fresh Connect retail network, expanding and maintaining our retail partnerships to offer a convenient, dignified shopping experience for cardholders. In their spare time, you can find Courcelle baking bread, taking walks, and thinking about what’s for dinner.

Josh is devoted to the science of social innovation. He cooks up About Fresh’s social impact strategy and leads development to support our organizational growth. When he’s not selling fruit from a bus, he’s playing soccer in the Fens.
Erin Wnorowski
Senior Director, Program Strategy & Growth, Fresh Connect
Growing up with a single mother who lived with multiple chronic conditions, Erin understood, early on, the relationship between food and health, choice and dignity, which led her into a career in community health, healthcare improvement, and food justice. In her role as Director of Service Design, Erin builds partnerships and programs to expand the accessibility and affordability of fresh foods. Outside of About Fresh, you can find Erin on a hike, at karaoke night, or exploring the city with her children.
